I'm drowning in an ocean of creative ideas!

Portrait Playing Cards

I was inspired by an art YouTuber named Mariah Elizabeth (https://www.youtube.com/@MoriahElizabeth), who had a series where she created her own custom designed playing cards digitally. While doing them digitally would be MUCH faster and easier, I don't have the materials to print nice images and I have a hoard of art supplies so WHY NOT? lol
My original idea was to use different mediums, but (as is evident with the first two Aces), sealing them proved difficult so I switched to gel pens which sealed very nicely, yet making skin colors proved....difficult. lol

Ace of  Spades (random male model) and Ace of Hearts (random male model) made using water soluble graphite, gel pen and watercolor

Ace of Clubs (@tylerthomas2074 ) and Ace of Diamonds (Weird Al) made using gel pens

King of Hearts (Invader Zim) and Queen of Hearts (Rugrats) made using gel pens

Jack of Hearts (Taz from Looney Tunes) and the 10 of Hearts (The Snorks) made using gel pens

9 of Hearts (CatDog) made using gel pens

King of Clubs (Robin Williams) and Queen of Clubs (Tim Curry) made using gel pens
